In July of 2014 the Rego Park Green Alliance redid the 63rd Drive Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) overpass mural. According to the Rego Park Green Alliance’s official website, “It took over 400 hours to power wash, prime, base coat, and create & install the photography. It took small businesses, a church, individuals, a councilmember, and a nonprofit to fund the process."
