We've been looking for the right house to buy for 5 years, from Forest Hills to New Hyde Park. We met at an open house. We told them what we wanted, what we considered a reasonable price, a garden for the dogs, etc.
Maybe it was coincidence, but within a few weeks they called us just with the right house, at a price below what we were ready to pay. The sellers were very happy too because they tried to sell the house before and were unable to do so because they initially asked for too much money with another agent.
Both Steve and Annie were very kind to us, made an effort to let our people inspect the place during the weekend, and kept the deal alive even when it was starting to look like it wasn't going to happen anymore.

Annie & Steve have a well deserved reputation both in Rego Park and Forest hills. After my wife and I had interviewed other listing agents, there was no doubt, whatsoever, that "they" would be our choice. Their professionalism, marketing, prior reputation, locally and their "listening" and not just "hearing" earned them the listing.
Within three days we had three offers. In five days, we had five offers and are presently entering into contract. Yes the other realtors that we had interviewed for the listing all estimated our home value to be about the same. The variation was plus or minus 2k.

We made a list and little by little, completed each task in preparation for the first open house. Annie and Steve were helpful and mindful that this home had been in my family for 70 years. We were very picky on who we would use to represent the sale of our home in Rego Park but they went above and beyond anything we expected. We are not people who usually write reviews but we had to take our time out for them because this is one of the best real estate experiences we have had and we have sold other homes before but the brokers were not as interested in our needs and you can tell they only wanted the commission no matter the sale price. I can't even describe our experience with Steve and Annie! I called the office and Steve came over the same day to see the house we wanted to sell. In such a short notice he came very well prepared - he had comparable recent sales in the area, contract, sales history. 4 days later we had offers and found a buyer in 5. We got the asking price and really I was speechless then!

My boyfriend and I were at the very last day of our lease when we reached out to Jennifer. We were totally stressed out and thought we would really have to pick from the apartments we had already seen which we were not impressed with at all. We saw an ad Jennifer had up and decided to give it one more try. We impressed upon her that we needed to see some places literally that afternoon because the next day we would be making our decision.
Not only was she patient and informative; she really listened to us! We gave her a description of the place we were looking for: hardwood floors, working fire place, close to the train that would drop us close by our jobs, on a tree-lined street, washer and dryer in unit, with a unique vintage type appeal.
She took us out that very day. She showed us a total of four places and all of them were amazing!!! My boyfriend thought after the first place that we should put in an application because it had everything we wanted. We did, but then we got to the next place and were just as excited as we were about the first.
By our last showing, we were at a crossroads because now we didn't know which one to choose! How awesome is that to go from seeing thirty places and then seeing four apartments that you absolutely love and can't choose from?!? We went with our gut and stuck with the first place and turned our paperwork over to her immediately. We were determined not to lose this place.
We sat anxiously waiting to hear any news of our approval, but Jennifer was right there every step of the way. She gave us daily updates and checked in with us often to reassure us of any doubts we may have had. We never had a problem contacting her, and even when she didn't answer right away we heard from her within a reasonable time.
When she finally came back with the news that we were approved and could move onto signing leases, we were over the moon!! We moved in a few days after, and have been happy here ever since.
Jennifer is my broker for life! She eased so many fears that we had about finding a place in such a short time and handled everything with grace and a professionalism that you rarely see with brokers today. I would recommend her to any and everyone and I still brag about her to everyone whenever our friends compliment us on our place. We will absolutely be using her again when we are ready to buy our home together.
